CSX 6119 and the 8023 pull loads of new crossties, heading North along the S line. CWR was recently laid on the S line, now time for new ties. Which is about time, I am still digging date nails out of some of the ties they've discarded. Jointed rail was rolled in the 60's. New ties lay along the ROW for about 8 miles North of this picture. |
