Description:  This is a worn (from dragging rails across the top) 1937 date nail and the tie is still in service in downtown Aberdeen NC. This section of track is called the "delivery track" and was once the miles long pass track that the SCL had that started in Hoffman NC, ran north through Aberdeen, Southern Pines and went back to single main in Lakeview NC.
